Since the National Social Science Fund of China in 2020 application has been issued,our school began preparing for it. On the one hand,the school aimto mobilize the school teachers to apply actively, on the other hand to organize a team of specialists to review on the applicants’ materials, in order to improve application quality.

In early February 2020, the School of Politics and International Relations invited Professor Zhu Yongbiao, Professor Li Jie and Professor Zeng Xianghong, to review the application materials of project applicants, and the three experts put forward suggestions on the topic selection, research content, research framework, research methods, key and difficulties of the project. After receiving the modification suggestions from the three experts, applicants made adjustments and improvements accordingly.

At the end of March 2020, the school invited Professor Yang Shu and Professor Wang Jinguo to conduct the second round of evaluation on the project application, and gave some suggestions for modification according to the deficiencies in the project application forms. At present, the project applicants are making further modification and improvement to the project application according to the suggestions of the two evaluation experts.

Through the organization of two rounds of expert evaluation, the school will try its best to provide necessary help to teachers who apply for the National Social Science Fund of China, in hope that their efforts will bring good results.
