From July 18 to 19, 2021, the 12th "I am a diplomat" competition for national university students was held in Xiamen University. In total, twelve teams participated in the competition, including Beijing Foreign Studies University, Jinan University, Lanzhou University, Nankai University, Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Tongji University, Wuhan University and so on.

The 6 team members representing our university to participate in this competition, including Professor Zhou Ming (team leader), four international politics major student (Mr. Li Chupei, Mr. Meng Xiangyi, Mr. He Chengsong, and Ms. He Shuwen) and a law major student ( Mr. Yang Shihai).

Five students of our school participated in the ministerial level simulation meeting on the topic of "The Road to Peace in Syria" on behalf of Iran, and launched multilateral diplomatic negotiations with participants representing Syria, Iran, the United States, France and Russia. Finally, our team won the "Excellent Team Award". The competition strengthened the students' practice and application of diplomatic knowledge and related skills, expanded the students' international vision.
