In order to better carry out journal evaluation work and give full play to the role of peer experts, the Chinese Academy of Social Science Evaluation Studies has recently completed the renewal or new establishment of the first batch of expert committees for the evaluation of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals for a total of 27 disciplines on the basis of 2018.On 20 April 2022, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies announced the list of invited experts and the list of expert committee members of 27 disciplines, with Professor Chen Xiaoding of our school being selected as a member of the expert committee of international political journals of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) is a research unit directly under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), with the main responsibility of "setting standards, organizing evaluation, inspecting and supervising, and ensuring quality".The Expert Committee on the Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals, established by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies, aims to extensively contact the forces of all walks of life, build an authoritative evaluation system for Chinese social science journals, lead the development direction of Chinese humanities and social science journals, and build an efficient academic exchange platform. At present, the third round of journal evaluation by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies is in order, and the "Comprehensive Evaluation Report of AMI of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals (2022)" will be released in November 2022.
