Recently, according to the notice of the document of the National Office of Philosophy and Social Science, Professor Zeng Xianghong was approved by the National Leading Group of Philosophy and Social Science to establish a major research project of the National Social Science Foundation for the year 2021.

Until 31 December 2021, the School of Politics and International Relations of Lanzhou University was awarded three National Social Science Foundation projects, which also included one National Social Science Foundation key project each for Professor Li Jie and Professor Zhu Yongbiao.

It is reported that Lanzhou University was awarded four major projects of the National Social Science Foundation in 2021, one each by the School of Management, the School of Marxism, the School of History and Culture, and the School of Politics and International Relations.
